1.) I've been in an accident. What should I do? - We recommend that you call the police to report the accident (Not necessary with animal claims). Next you should contact your insurance agent. You can always call us and we will be more than happy to assist you.
2.) Do I have to take my vehicle to the insurance companies claim center before my car can be repaired? - No, you can bring your vehicle to our shop and request that an insurance representative visit our facility. We have an excellent relationship with all major insurance companies.
3.) Do I have to get more than one estimate? - No, Georgia Law does not require you to obtain more than one estimate.
4.) Do I have to use the repair shop my insurance company is telling me to? - No, you have the right to choose the repair shop of your choice.
5.) What should I look for when choosing a shop to repair my vehicle? - As a consumer, we recommend that you look for a modern facility with state-of-the-art equipment, check for cleanliness, make sure their technicians are properly trained and that they offer a warranty.
6.) Will I receive a warranty after the repairs are completed? - Yes, at West Georgia Paint & Body, we give our customers a warranty "in writing" with each completed repair. Our #1 goal is complete customer satisfaction.
7.) How do I obtain a rental vehicle while mine is being repaired? - If you are at fault, your policy may contain coverage that entitles you to a rental. If you are not at fault, the other parties' insurance may be liable for your rental. In either case, you usually set up your rental directly with the agent. However, if you experience any difficulties, we will be glad to help.
8.) How long will it take to complete repairs to my vehicle? - When you bring your vehicle in for an estimate, an estimator for West Georgia Paint & Body will over the repairs needed to restore your vehicle to pre-accident condition and discuss the possible length of time it will take. We will also give you an available appointment date. Once repairs begin if we experience any delays you will be notified promptly.
9.) What type payments do we accept for repairs? - We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and checks with proper identification.
10.) Who do I pay the deductible to? - If your insurance company has not waived your deductible, it will be your responsibility to pay West Georgia Paint & Body when picking up your vehicle. Deductibles can only be waived by the insurance company.
